‘Vida Verdad’ to the end

I want to express my sincere thanks for everyone’s support of the Muñoz Be1Vision Project.  The photographers appreciate all of your support and continue to be motivated to show their photography to the world.  While most people live day to day with little prospect of change, you helped make an impact towards bettering the lives of 12 people and giving them hope.

Thanks to the donations of a few fantastic people, we were able to exhibit ‘Vida Verdad’ (‘True Life’), a show of the Be1Vision photographer’s work, at two locations hosted by Project Esperanza. With the help of Laura Vladimirova and Alicia Harman of Project Esperanza and Gump Diaz of Be1Being we were able to set up over 100 photos and sell more than 20 during the opening.  Please stay tuned for online sales in the coming weeks on www.KrystleMarcellus.com.

Also, we received a review from the Dominican Today newspaper that I invite you to check out, click here to see it directly on the site.

The second showing of ‘Vida Verdad’  was held the following week in Project Esperanza’s La Grua Batey location (the neighboring batey of where the classes were held).  Many members of the community were able to see images of their family and friends as well as see conditions in different bateys from a unique perspective. Having the ‘Vida Verdad’ exhibition gave community members the opportunity to see a project through to completion and it will be continued as the work stays on display for 2 months more.

Both shows were a great success.  Please stay tuned for online sales in the coming weeks on www.KrystleMarcellus.com and thanks again for your support.
